Abestorm 780 CFM Portable Air Filtration System For Woodworking Shops | ‎DecDust 780S

This is a great portable tabletop dust collector for working on various projects in the garage or for clients. I love that I can just set it on the workbench and use the table saw with the garage door closed, shop vac hooked up to the saw. I can make long rips that create a lot of dust; much goes in the shop vac, and any airborne dust gets filtered by this unit.I’ll be using this to sit next to me when sanding various projects, and any situation where I want to get the air filtered from debris that may be present in a room.For some situations this filter clans the air well enough to not be concerned about wearing a dust mask. It depends on how much dust is being generated by any given tool.One thing that is kind of an issue, is that I can not find the replacement filters for this unit?It uses, Tright Filters 13.11 x 10.35 x 0.71 Merv 13. These filters are not found on Amazon, from this unit manufacturer, Abestorm, nor on the Tright Filters website? I’m sure I’ll be able to locate the replacement filters somewhere, right?. If not I’ll just have to find close enough fit and customize fit…I’ll cross that bridge when I get to it…will update this review once I do more homework.Besides the filter replacements issue, I like this unit's portability, small footprint, quiet operation, option to run it on a timer, and two different power settings for air handling. As a bonus, it matches the cabinets in the shop/garage.This unit is going to be used in many circumstances with the multitude of projects I find myself on; glad to have it in the shop!

This is excellent for my needs. I have a 10x20 workshop that I occasionally do woodworking in. I have it on a high shelf to keep it out of the way. I will eventually build brackets and mount it from the ceiling. I don't do a lot of heavy woodworking and usually have a vacuum hooked up to my saws. This paired with the vacuum setup is a wonderful combo to keep the dust to a bare minimum.

The unit is very quiet, even when turned up to top speed. So far I am happy with the air flow through the filter and it works well when cleaning suspended dust. Works great. Just as described.

I’ve been needing a better dust collection system for a while, so I’m glad I found this tabletop collector. The filter is easy to replace and it doesn’t take up too much space. I put it behind my saw, since that’s where the dust blows, and my vacuum’s exhaust helps bush the dust toward the collector. It works very well, and I noticed it immediately. The noise level is impressively low. My favorite feature is the timer, as I can leave it running for a little while after I’m finished, but I don’t have to remember to turn it off. Overall, this is a fantastic investment for a smaller shop.

This is a really nice dust collector, especially for someone who does a lot of woodcarving with rotary tools and chisels like I do. It does not substitute for a proper overall dust collection system at your equipment, but is great for doing close-in hand work, like sanding for instance. I've tried various methods before for collecting this dust using my shop vac, but none of the attachments or setups worked as well as this. It's also not that noisy. I recommend based on my experience.
